Biography of Amir Amiri

Santur player, composer, and cultural inventor Amir Amiri has spent his decades-long career exploring the limits of his music, and keeps coming to the conclusion that there are none. As a santur player, Amir seeks to bring this ancient instrument into the musical conversations of our time, engaging across borders and transcending genres. Dazzlingly virtuosic and with a keen imagination, Amir creates an enchanting and unique musical universe with every performance.

Biography of Aaron Shahi

Born in Kerman, Iran, Aaron shahi is a Canada-based award-winning instrumentalist, composer, and conductor. Having started his music lessons from an early age, his studies have been supervised by musicians such as Seddiq Tarif, Houshang Zarif, Keyvan Saket, Nader Mashayekhi, Ahmad Pejman, and Shahrdad Rouhani. Starting his professional career in 2013, Aaron has been collaborating with well-known Iranian musicians in the form of recordings and concerts in different countries. By immigrating to Canada in 2018, he opened a new season of his musical career collaborating with international musicians. Also, as a multidisciplinary musician and industrial engineer, Aaron is now pursuing his master’s focusing his thesis on continuous improvement and operations optimization in symphony orchestras.
